At Novarama, we always look for ways to bring energy use down to the absolute minimum before applying renewable technologies. Often this involves 'hidden' fixes within the mechanical design; a type of valve or relay which may not be glamorous but actually reduces carbon emissions much more than installing unnessary solar panels or an errant wind turbine.

We actually know of one major UK company who installed a wind turbine on the roof of their retail outlet which, when the wind was still, was powered by the mains!

Renewable technologies are not always the best and most cost effective way to reduce carbon output, but in this era of 'corporate greening', we advise our clients on which technologies will best suit their needs.
