A few of our recent projects

Novarama advised on humidity control for a vast national museum repository using sacks of clay rather than conventional air-conditioning and produced a bespoke hygroscopic computer model to demonstrate the likely performance.

Estimated energy savings of over £1m per year and a much reduced capital cost.

The hot and dry climate in Algeria, combined with ample access to water, inspired us to design an evaporative cooling system disguised as an ornamental water feature for a residential scheme.

In Hawaii, the hot and sunny conditions allowed us to use solar-thermal cooling via absorption chillers for a business development – in other words, cooling made from solar heat.

Novarama prepared the low-carbon energy strategy for a major international airport. We produced a bespoke computer model to estimate annual-hourly energy demands across the entire site using only planning level design information.

Our reports formed the sole basis of the planning application with respect to energy strategy.
